Not only are their cakes delicious but they are aesthetically pleasing as well. I am from Kansas City and I emailed back and forth with Will in preparation to pick up a cake for my wedding in Ft. Lauderdale. I knew e-mailing Will a picture of the cake I wanted from Pinterest was a totally obnoxious thing to do because Pinterest pictures are typically a totally unattainable goals to achieve. Will had a great sense of humor and gave me great suggestions about how to reach my Pinterest goal. When I arrived in Ft. Lauderdale the day before my wedding I was floored by what he had made. It was the picture I sent to him but he added so much flair and creativity to it. It looked great and tasted even better. I would suggest this bakery to anyone in Ft. Lauderdale!

Sweeter Days makes some pretty delicious sweets. They are well known for their cupcakes but I'm more of a fan of their cupcake pops and cookies. I tried the Red Velvet Cupcake Pop and YUM! It's a super moist red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling dipped in dark chocolate. I could've eaten a dozen easily they were so good! I am a huge fan of their Snickerdoodle cookies too. They are about the most moistest cookie I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and pick up a cupcake and another treat from Sweeter Days. You will be happy you did.

Ah this bakery is amazing, and smells it too! So many delicious options .. Was a regular when I was preggo. My family also had my almond-amaretto baby shower cake made there and it was huge and SO delish! Everyone loved it and I still have some in the freezer 3 months later. Icing is always perfect consistency and amount, and cake is nice and moist and flavorful. And the cookies .. Ok have to stop before I talk myself into driving down the street to stock up. Seriously good. You won't be disappointed.

Best cup cakes in town. I've ordered for numerous events they went above and beyond to make special cup cakes out of my crazy requests. Salted Caramel is my personal favorite.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I called in with a crazy neon cake request and they went above and beyond! They were incredibly friendly and have earned a customer for life! Thank you!!!

I love Sweeter Days especially when they are exactly that, Sweeter Days with Nutella Cupcakes and Red Velvet Cookies what better day can you have?! After being here several times and having both their delicious Cookies and Cupcakes I was excited to get my husbands surprise birthday party cake here. I was looking online at their selections and offerings, it was between a Coconut Cake or a Key Lime Coconut Cake. My first time calling in the girl was super sweet and very informational informing me that I could actually combine two flavors into one cake! This opened up a whole new thought process and I told the girl on the phone that I would think about it and call back. She gave me all the info I needed such as when I should call back to place my order, the process, and ideas they can do for me! I was still deciding when the lightbulb clicked and I thought why would I get a cake when my husband doesn't even like cake. Voila! A Cookie Cake!! I called back to see if they make Cookie Cakes and sure enough they do! You can get a circle Cookie Cake or a square. With as many people I planned to have come the guy over the phone advised a square would be much easier and better! He also let me know they can write anything on the cake and decorate it however I wish to. My order was placed and I could not wait to go pick it up!! Located in the Plaza Del Mar Strip Mall where Joes Crab Shack is also located they have ample amount of parking and seats inside & out to enjoy your Sweet Cravings! After walking to the store since they do not offer any kind of delivery I was parched and looked like a hot mess! Andy greeted me immediately and without a thought she gave me a bottle of water and said it was on the house. It is always the simple things that make the biggest impression and I could of not been more thankful for her sweet gesture. Andy went in the back and retrieved my Cookie Cake. She revealed the two flavor Cookie Cake and it looked perfect and smelled heavenly! My husbands birthday party was a huge success and everyone loved the Cookie Cake! Funny part of it all was when our server brought the Cookie Cake out all light up with candles. He said "I'm not sure if we are getting Weird or Wierd! Ha I didn't even notice when picking it up! They accidentally misspelled Weird to Wierd but that just made things all that better with my husbands Let's Get Weird Party Theme! The cake was massive and could not have been any better!! Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Sweeter Days! I will always use them to sweeten up my day!

I searched for bakeshops on Yelp to find a place to make my wedding cake and came across Sweeter Days Bakeshops. I don't live in Florida so I emailed the owner Steve what I wanted and my cake was a million times better than the picture. They made a beautiful wedding cake that taste DELICIOUS!! I chose red velvet, which was a very great choice. They whole staff is extremely friendly which is always a plus!

I was introduced to this place after I attended a party and one of the guest were raving about the cupcakes. They went fast but she went on and on about the salted caramel cupcake so the foodie I am I had to try. Well I visited the bakery a few days later and tried this cupcake. For me personally I love salted caramel anything, but this cupcake was done right to say the least. The buttercream was fluffy and flavorful with a finishing touch of salt on top. The bakery is small and only offer a few seats inside with about two tables on the outside. They also sell cakes, mini cupcakes, and cookies to name a few items. While I have not tried anything else all the dessert look very tasty and professionally done. The staff is very friendly and since I have been going have seen the same faces. I also like the open prep kitchen visible to the customers. I would give this place a try if you are looking for a good treat. My only negative is that they close early and it's hard to get there after work.

Yummmmmmy and fresh!!! Moist, fresh, soft, balance of all taste. Red Velvet was amazing, I should know, I lived in DC for many years home of a few famous cupcake places. These were better than that!!!!!!! Cookies & cream awesome too with coffee like filling. We also got Key Lime it was great but not as great as other 2. I will be back for sure and it also helps it's 5 minutes from where I live (oh wait that may not a good thing :-0 )

Loveeee the cupcakes here!! It's been a tradition for my boyfriend and I to stop by and pick up cupcakes for Valentines day or Anniversaries every year. We love it here and wished we had one closer to home... Staff is great and owners are awesome! I would tell you which flavors are my favorite but we might be here for a long time :) Must try!!!

I ordered a custom cake for my uncle and cousin's birthday and it was a hit with the entire family! I'm originally from Los Angeles and I work at a bake shop myself so I am the biggest critic when it comes to cakes. I didn't know what I was getting into as I never had anything from this bake shop but the cake was fluffy and the Nutella in the center was delish. Even the fondant was tasty, we all had every piece of the cake. The details on the cake were amazing as well, everyone was surrounding the cake taking pictures! It made me feel great to see how happy they were. They couldn't get over it. We loved it, thank you guys!!! Thank you, WILL!

I've had several cupcakes in my day. These are really good. But for me there is something missing. I don't know exactly what. My wife ate and she said they were good. She said It was something in my head. Any-who they are really good but not the best I've had. Also the icing is too much. Ok now I feel like a Scrooge!

We recently celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday and decided to have a cupcake tower made with 90 individual cupcakes and one big cupcake cake at the top of the tower. Both gentlemen at Sweeter Days were so so lovely and easy to work with. They did exactly what we wanted and gave excellent suggestions. The cupcakes are DELICIOUS. We live in New York where the cupcake market is stellar and these guys go head to head with the best. VERY reasonably priced for everything we ordered. Our order was on time and waiting for us when we pulled up. 5 stars all around for service and taste and quality. I would definitely use them again!

I love this bake shop in Fort Lauderdale. The owners are always present. My favorite cupcake is the chocolate pretzel and Nutella! Any cupcake they offer can be turned into a full size cake! Keep that in mind if you have a party.

I have bought cupcakes a tad pricey but good, today I was extremely disappointed, wanted to order a Bday cake but was called with a quote of over $300 for 25 ppl. Seems like way to much for a not so intricate cake. But what was the worst was the remark made by the girl on the phone when I said that was over my budget " yeah that's what I thought" wow I really am taken back. It's not because we cannot afford it but because their price is too much for a simple cake , it's over $10 per slice per person, this isn't a wedding cake. So disappointing.

Pleasant service and still a decent assortment to choose from at 4p. So far the raspberry w white chocolate was really delicious. Moist, yummy cake, mildly sweet frosting w a hint of raspberry. Looking forward to trying the chocolate cake - as a baker myself, I'm a bit of a cake snob and so far what I've tasted has been pretty good for retail cupcakes. We would come back for more.

I love this place!!!!! So far I have enjoyed every flavor cupcake they have. The cake is light and fluffy and the butter cream is not too sweet or heavy. But not only are the cupcakes and cakes heavenly. The woman Andi that is always working every time i go in is so amazing. Her customer service is the best I've seen. She knows all the customers she always has a big smile on her face and she goes above and beyond for her customers. It's a bonus when not only do you get a wonderful product but also a memorable experience.

For starters, I wanted so badly to give Sweeter Days 5 stars, but a few minor things just held me back. With that being said, let me start by saying that I have sampled their cookies and cakes before I ever stepped foot in their GORGEOUS little bakery! The cookies were amazing and cake was over the top delicious. I ordered a specialty (beach theme) cake for a going away party I was hosting. I sent the owner a few pictures of some ideas and let him run with the design of the cake. When I arrived to pick it up, the girl was putting on the finishing touches, so I had to wait a few minutes which was perfect so I could check out the goodies in person and talk to the owners (nicest guys ever!). I was soo excited to see how the cake designed turned out, and after the few minute wait, the owner called me over to take a peek! I loved it. Unfortunately, due to my excitement I overlooked the fact that they misspelled my friends name completely. I cannot blame the owners, it was my fault for not noticing it until I got all the way home!! There was no turning back at that point. Everyone loved the cake - both aesthetically and taste :) I also bought 2 cupcakes on the side to give to a friend. I refrigerated them and she didn't eat them until later in the evening. I don't know if it was the refrigeration, but she said the cake was a little hard and the frosting was very "greasy". Again, I didn't sample this myself and I think perhaps the refrigeration may have played a roll in the taste. So, for these 2 things, I give it 4 stars but I am totally going back to try the cupcakes myself!!

This place is like no other. I've been to all the trendy cupcake places from NYC, DC, LA...nothing tastes like these. The flavors are perfect, the artistry on each piece is amazeballs. Can't go wrong with picking up a few cakes here.

These guys are so sweet and so amazing. Every pun intended! Will took my order and took care of my wedding cupcake order. The bakery was even so kind to accommodate one of my requests and turn my favorite Brazilian sweet treat into a cupcake. They were wonderful and the brigadeiro cupcakes came out delicious! They were great and professional, and I loved working with them every minute. Thank you for all you did!

We, as a family, LOVE this bake shop. We got all of our wedding cakes here for our BIG day and they were ALL amazing! Then after we have ordered and purchased several cupcakes for all of our big life occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, house warming party and holiday gatherings. They are warm and loving owners, and fabulous quality and consistent! We will never go to another baker in our family. And all of our friends and family who we have recommended, have fallen in love as well.

Of course I have a cupcake review on my trip to Florida! I had to try cupcakes on the East coast and I was able to try 3 flavors at this location. I also bought a cute 4 pack mini gift box to take to California with me. Boston Cream: I liked this the best, the combo of the white cake and chocolate frosting with sprinkles was really good. White Chocolate Raspberry: White cake was moist, but the frosting was a bit over powering with raspberries I had to take some off before I ate it all. Red Velvet: you know I don't like red velvet, but my friend always gets this and loves it! I tasted it and again the cake was not dry and tasted good. I wanted to also try out their coconut cookies, but they ran out! This is my friend's go to place for cupcakes and cakes and I can see why! The owners were very nice and helpful and patient with us as we couldn't choose which one we wanted since they all looked so good!

I love Sweeter Days!! Especially the owners. Steve is our normal go-to guy here for all of our events. We love cupcakes and try to incorporate them into all of our parties. Steve and Sweeter Days Bake Shop has catered dessert at our last few events. My FAVORITE FLAVORS are: SALTED CARAMEL AND ALMOND AMARETTO!!! You can't go wrong with any of their flavors, but these two always call me! BABY SHOWER: For our baby shower, Steve arranged a HUGE five tier, 120 cupcake, five flavor tower that was GORGEOUS and fit right in with our theme. The flavors were a huge success!! Everyone RAVED about the cupcakes and asked where we got them and wanted to take some home! The cupcakes finished quickly so there were no leftovers-- everyone had seconds and thirds! For the baby shower, we served: - Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes - Double Mocha Fudge Cupcakes - Almond Amaretto Cupcakes - Southern Red Velvet Cupcakes *The cupcakes were all customized to our theme with tinted frosting and cute little decor items throughout. FIRST BIRTHDAY: When it was time for our baby's first birthday, we turned to Steve to make the cupcakes for our 200+ person, adults and families, birthday party. We went with a four tier, 200 mini cupcakes, four flavor tower with a cake on the top tier. Our guests could not get enough of the cupcakes. This time we allowed Steve to leave some business cards (discreetly) near the cupcake tower so we could hand them out for him. For the birthday party, we served: - Almond Amaretto Cupcakes with Red Sanding Sugar - Red Velvet with Red Sanding Sugar - Salted caramel cupcakes - Guava cupcakes - Signature Chocolate Cupcakes with Aqua frosting - Top Cake was Almond Amaretto *All the cupcakes were customized to our circus theme and colors of red and aqua. PHOTO SESSION: A few weeks later, we needed a heavily decorated cake for our Smash Cake Photography Session. I had forgotten to order it and the photo shoot was just days away. I frantically called Steve who assured me he would get it done that night for early AM pickup. The cake was PERFECT!!! I couldn't be happier!! When planning, schedule a tasting. For just a few dollars per flavor, you can taste as many options as you want. Ask for Steve! Feel free to mention me!

Steve and his team are just amazing! During my cake tasting for my wedding he was just amazing and made me feel at home in his shop. We shared laughs with my 3 ladies that were with me! He was patient and I loved him to pieces! He responded quickly to any emails I sent. The cupcakes were to die for! All my guest just loved them! My cake was just as amazing! My 1year anniversary top cake is waiting patiently in my freezer next to the second layer which will be thawed when I return from the Caribbean! My husband and I just can't wait to dive into it!!! We don't even want to share because of how delicious it is! I'm counting the days I get to thaw that baby! Steve thank you and your team again for the hard work you guys did!!!! I will be recommending you to everyone I can down there! I can't wait to come back and try some more amazing cupcakes of yours!!!! (We ordered the chocolate signature, dulce de leche, and the guava. They all happen to match my wedding exactly! And they all tasted like heaven!)

Best bakery in South Florida hands down. I purchased a birthday cake here for my father and the staff was so patient and accommodating while we picked the design. The end result was absolutely beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend this bakery for all of your party needs or if you have a sugar craving!!

I'm in cupcake heaven! The cupcakes are amazing.!!We tried the key lime pie and the white and chocolate ! I love red velvet but I thought it was a little to sweet. The owner is a sweetheart and very welcoming. The shop is adorable and you can see the bakers in the kitchen. I wish I found this place sooner and highly recommend it!!

I have always seen these cakes/cupcakes around town, so I figured I would give them a shot. I wanted them to make a cake for one of the girls at my job, who was leaving us. What a cute little store! Very easy to find. When I arrived there, the staff was very friendly and greeted me immediately. I wanted to incorporate some of the things she does for a living (she is a nurse at one job, and the other, a hostess at 15th Street Fisheries). I asked them if they could put some scrubs, a stethoscope, and a big tarpon on the cake (the tarpon is like our mascot at the restaurant). They were willing to do this and seemed very excited to bring a little creativity to something that is also delicious. The cake was red velvet (her favorite) with cream cheese frosting. I have never been so pleased before in my life. Not only did my friend love the cake, but the decorations came out much better than I had imagined. It was a small cake, only 6 inches. It was also a little pricey, but so worth it! I am happy I checked this place out, and will be back again soon to try some yummy cupcakes :-)

I agree wholeheartedly with the review written by Vanessa M. back in December of 2013. Unfortunately, I cannot rate this shop on the taste of their products because I never even got the chance to taste anything. I am having a baby shower in March and contacted the shop back in January to see if the cake I liked was something that they could make. When I first called I spoke to a woman named Andy who told me to email Steve (the owner) with all of the information that they would need including a picture. A week went by (after I emailed Steve) and I still did not hear anything back. I ended up calling and he answered the phone. He explained to me that he was sorry for not getting back to me and that they had been extremely busy with super bowl weekend. He had me wait on the phone for a couple of minutes while he found my email (He had not even read it yet). At this point, I understood that they had been busy with super bowl weekend and just chalked it up to them being busy and this being a small oversight (I was not annoyed yet). He told me that his head pastry chef was out of town but that he would get back to me latest by Wednesday (it was currently Monday) to let me know if this cake was something they could even do and to give me pricing options. Another week went by and I still hadn't heard anything. I wrote a follow-up email to Steve just to remind him that I still needed an answer. Still, no one got ahold of me. After Valentine's Day weekend, I called the store again. Andy picked up the phone and I asked to speak to Steve. She said he was in a meeting and would have to call me back later. I informed of her of how long I had been waiting for SIMPLY just an answer as to whether or not they would be able to make the cake I wanted and she responded by telling me they had been crazy busy between Super Bowl and Valentine's day. I told her that I understood that they were busy but it shouldn't take weeks to get an answer as to whether or not your shop is even capable of making a cake. She apologized and said she would have Steve call me back after his meeting. It has been about a month since I first contacted the shop and I still have not received a phone call or email. Thank god, I didn't need a cake within 2 weeks or I would have been SOL waiting on these people. Obviously, I am going with another shop who actually seems like they want to work with me (FYI the shop I am using is Newday Desserts in Wilton Manners). From my experience, Sweeter Days Bake Shop is very unprofessional. As I said, I have never tasted their sweets and they might be delicious. However, if you need anything done in a professional manner at a fast pace--PLEASE do not use them. HORRIBLE customer service! Like I said a month later, I still have not received a response from anyone at this shop.

One learns great lessons from a visit to Sweeter Days. First lesson - Branding... this is not a "let's open a cupcake store place and see how it goes"... This is a well orchestrated production - - the name, the branding, the location layout comes from honed merchandising skills. Years as professionals in NYC will do this...And then the cupcakes!! Do not look for over-moist, toothaching sweet stuff here. These are cakes with crumbs and airiness...And frosting that compliments - - not takes over... Eat them slowly and let the main flavors saturate your taste buds - - chocolate if it is a chocolate, salted caramel if that is what it is...Minis are great as gifts...but for yourself, order a full-sized one..and cherish and relish... Please do not leave this place with just cupcakes. Their cookies are outstanding! The shortbread cookies are culinary school gold stars! Done the way they should be!..YUM!..

This review is written from a 1-time visitor while on vacation. I found this place by doing a quick Google search for cupcakes in the area. We stopped by in the afternoon during the week. The decor is adorable, as any bakery's should be. The workers were friendly as well. I couldn't immediately find a price list but we're on vacation, so who cares? I ordered a red velvet cupcake and Jacob went for an Oreo/cookies 'n cream cupcake. We also ordered 2 glasses of milk. Our total was about $11. Kinda steep but the milk was probably expensive. There's no seating inside. Well, there is a small table that seats either 4 or 6 but some annoying mom was sitting there with her kid, so we opted to sit outside, rather than sit at the same table as them. The red velvet cupcake was good, although a lot more dry than I like. Apparently this is just the way they do it? I don't know, if the majority of my Yelp reviews mentioned my business having dry cupcakes, I'd probably change the way I make them. Dear Sweeter Days: NO ONE LIKES DRY CUPCAKES. The frosting was really good, though. I love me some cream cheese frosting. Jacob enjoyed his Oreo cupcake but didn't eat much of the frosting. He said it was too sweet. This is a cute place to get a cupcake but you don't get your money's worth. If you're paying $3 for a cupcake, you'd expect it to be moist and delicious, not dry as the Sahara.

Love this place! Really great cupcakes and specialty casks as well. Had the snicker doodle cupcake-so yum with just the right amount of cinnamon (I'm not really a fan of cinnamon but this was delish) the salted caramel cupcake was so yummy as well, it had a piece of brittle on top to give it the right amount of crunch! My friend had ordered a coconut cake here once for her moms bday n the cake was so yummy and moist! Not to mention the owners are so friendly and welcoming! Def coming back for more!

Traveling through and needed a last minute dessert for a dinner party with 25 people for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party. Wonderful staff and owners--such a pleasure to visit and be treated like a VIP. Beautiful shop with delicious cupcakes. A perfect amount of frosting and fresh products every time. Thank you, Steve and crew!

They did an amazing job for our wedding this past weekend with the cake and cup cake tier. Everyone loved the idea and the cake looked just like the pic we gave them and tasted even better. They showed up on time, set everything up and I had no worries. 5 Star All the Way. Thanks Sweeter Days you made our day that much more perfect. Jacalyn and Sam.

If there was a zero star option - this place would be getting it. However, it is a very cute shop and it does APPEAR to be clean. As far as customer service goes, the owner is awful. I have an upcoming wedding this Saturday and he just FINALLY contacted me yesterday about my order. Keep in mind I reached out to him on November 22nd, and I reached out to my venue several times to get ahold of him. I don't know how any other brides would feel - but I feel like my order should have been done and finalized a little before 4 days before my wedding. So not only is he run an awful business but he is rude and condescending - did not like it when I told him his cupcakes tasted like Betty Crocker's...Actually Betty Crocker is a compliment...If you want a cupcake that is aesthetically beautiful then great - but I want my cupcakes to taste AMAZING. These cupcakes are dry and basically all taste the same. A yellow or white cake with a different colored frosting with drizzle here and there to make it a different flavor. I know who won't be eating cake at her wedding!!!

My family and I went to this shop based on the good reviews. We chose 6 different flavors and each one was moist, with just the right amount of frosting. The owner is super friendly - overall, a great experience. We'll be back.

Phenomenal bakery. The cupcakes we purchased this weekend for my birthday were awesome and the icing was not overly sweet which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their cookies were delicious, very moist and great flavors. I will definitely be visiting this bakery again on my next trip to Florida. And the owners were awesome and made us feel very welcomed in their store. 5 stars all the way!!

For my daughter's first birthday party (this past weekend), we ordered a MinnieMouse themed cake - similar to the one that is on their site in the gallery section that says, 'Jocelyn'. Let me tell you, aesthetically, the picture on the site does the cake no justice. Ours was almost identical - the only difference was we did not have the flowers at the bottom of the cake and the pink layer we added polka dots. The cake is seriously a work of art. It is just beautiful. And the taste is beyond amazing. I've NEVER tasted a cake that was so fresh and delicious that everyone wanted a seconds. Not only was the cake gorgeous and delicious, the staff at the bakery was so friendly and helpful. They made the whole experience really wonderful. I am definitely going to order again from them!

I came to Sweeter Days Bake Shop for my wedding cakes. Yes multiple cakes. My then fiance and now husband and I are not really into the idea of having one large cake as we love multiple types and let me tell you that Sweeter Days Bake Shop is the place to go! We ordered 5 cakes: Salted Caramel (ahhhmahhhzing), Guava (ahhhmahhhzing as well), Tiramisu (again ahhhmahhhzing), White Chocolate Raspberry (do I even need to repeat myself? ahmahhhzing!) and Chocolate Peanut Butter (hello heaven!!). The icing is light and not dense at all (just how I prefer it), the cakes are moist and the flavors all blend so well together. All of the cakes, seriously ALL of the cakes were eaten and our guests had nothing but rave reviews for them! Steve and Will were just as amazing as their cakes and treated my mom and I like royalty when we came in for an impromptu tasting. Sweeter Days is now definitely a must-have for when I drive down to SoFla which thankfully is about once a month. Get ready for my visits, Sweeter Days!!

I have an office located in Ft.Lauderdale and needed something nice to send for a client/friends birthday. Due to the fact I'm shot and completley forgot what day it was combined with the fact the office is 75% women I needed to send something other then a stripper. Needless to say I sent cupckaes from Sweeter Days and all was forgiven. FYI Women love cupcakes !

Stopped by because I had a craving for cupcakes. The place on the inside and out side looks clean and trendy, staff is also friendly. Unfortunately the cupcakes are dry and not very tasty. I would have been better off getting a cupcake from the supermarket.

I am from LA. There r cupcakes on every corner and I've tried the most famous of them. NEVER have I had a cupcake this moist w such amazing flavors and surprises! The salted caramel is TO DIE for! Just when u think you're about to have a foodgasm, you hit the homemade caramel center. An THEN you have one! No shit. Pardon my language, but I just got done eating the peanut butter chocolate cupcake and I'm high as a kite from the sense of euphoria the endorphin release has just caused. If they are consistent, this could very well b the BEST cupcake shop in the universe. YES I'm being dramatic, but I can't help myself. Damnnnnn!

Stopped in to buy cupcakes but ended buying four cookies as gifts. The cookies were a hit and I would definitely go back for more.

Not worth the calories... Really cute looking but dry cupcakes and the icing just tastes like whipped butter. The cakepops are all wrong and shouldn't be called cakepops-- more like mini cupcakes dipped in chocolate. I wish them success in their business but it seems like they spend more time on their appearance instead of the quality of the product. You'd be much better off getting dessert at Starbucks.

First time ever using Sweeter Days Bake Shop and it was amazing. We had the red velvet, coconut, and white chocolate raspberry cupcakes and we couldn't stop eating them!! So moist ! We also ordered chocolate chip cookies.I liked them as well but they were a little to thick and heavy for them to be amazing. Think I only ate half a cookie. But it was still a good cookie just not for me. Love that you can see the bakers doing their thing in the kitchen! Over-all great place..!

We are from out of town and found this shop via Yelp. Steve was awesome in whipping something simple up for our 1 y.o.'s out of town bday trip. We also got a bunch of cupcakes for ouselves. Red Velvet and Almond Amaretto was delicious!

3 cheers for great cupcakes and customer service! I've always wanted to stop into this cute little bake shop and I finally had an excuse this weekend. I picked up 2 cupcakes and a brownie for my friend's birthday. Well, the brownie and 1 of the cupcakes was for him... I needed to make sure I was giving him a quality cupcake so I sampled one for myself. Oh the sacrifices I make for my friends! :) The cupcakes and the brownie were a hit. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and I felt like he sincerely appreciated my business. I will definitely be coming back again!

Sweet little local bake shop with absolutely devilish tempting treats. Isn't this the point of Yelp!? To find the sought after local businesses that really do put out a consistently delicious product time after time way better than any of the big guys or large markets. The selection may be small...but its special because the classics are there but there is always a fan favorite that pops up. I have read the other reviews and the flavors are good. My suggestion..go with your first instinct for ultimate satisfaction. P.S. to the girl who mentioned the makeshift to-go cupcake container...what are you serious?? Icing on your finger bummed you out? That's the most awesome part of handling a cupcake...unless your hands are dirty. (crowd says silently ....ewwwww)

I visited Sweeter Days Bake Shop the other day, about 15 minutes before they closed. I had heard so much about this place, so I was very excited to try it out. The owners apologized for not having a bigger selection of cupcakes to choose from (since it was so close to closing time), but I still had a hard time choosing between the key lime coconut or caramel apple cupcakes. I opted for the latter, and I have to say it ranks up there as one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I ate it the day after and it was still wonderfully soft and moist, with a small amount of apple pie filling in the middle of it. And the frosting! So light and fluffy! I bought a dozen mini cupcakes for my mom and stole two of them - the key lime coconut and red velvet - and they were amazing as well. I also bought a chocolate oatmeal coconut cookie and had it two days later... and, oh my heavens, what an amazing cookie. And considering I ate the cupcake the day after, and the cookie the day after that... how much better are they when they are fresh out of the oven? Thank goodness this place is pretty far from me, because this would be quite dangerous otherwise.

I had to find a dessert as an office appreciation gift. When I called Sweeter Days, the owner was so helpful with suggestions and was very accommodating when I had to pick up the cupcakes before work. The office was thrilled with the variety and quality of the cupcakes. Definitely stop in if you are in the area!

Great family owned and operated business in an awesome location in East Fort Lauderdale, this bake shop is tucked away and waiting for you to walk in and literally say WOW! The attention to every single detail of the layout and decoration of the bakery is so adorable and perfect in every single way!!! They have an open bakery whereby you can watch all the magic happen in front of you! In the end, you are left feeling like there is nothing to hide and quality is top of their list. Now onto the taste of the cupcakes..... I've only tried 1 flavor 2 x's so I can only speak to the chocolate cupcake with butter cream icing. The presentation was adorable with the icing being a beautiful turquoise color. The icing was smooth, maybe a little too smooth for my liking and the cake was dry - both times. I really wanted to like the cupcake cuz I loved everything else so much but alas it wasn't my cup o'tea. Maybe next time I should try a funkier flavor as maybe that's their specialty. If you want to be wowed by a cool bakery in a great location, this is the spot for you to check out...just stay clear of the basic flavors and go for something more exotic!

Sweeter Days is the best cupcake shop ever. Bring these cupcakes to any gathering and you will be the life of the party. I brought some home to my in-laws to try to impress them. It worked! Not only did they finish off the cupcakes, but I ended up having to bring back some more. Owners are very "Hands on" and the staff is very friendly and professional.

Pros: The owners (and entire staff) are super nice and very accommodating. A nicer staff, you will not find. The cupcakes are decorated beautifully. They are visually appealing so they'd make great thank you gifts. The store is neat and clean. You can watch the bakers working on their creations because of the open floor plan (with glass partition). I only tasted one cupcake flavor- salty caramel. The taste of the combination of sweet and salty was wonderful. Cons: The cupcakes are a little dry. If you want to buy a single cupcake - to go, it's placed in a cup (think ice cream) with a plastic lid. This is a bad idea. It's not easy to get the cupcake out without getting icing on your hands and it's not visual appealing.

Let me begin with the pros: The owners/co-owners of this shop are very friendly and hospitable. Super rare for South Florida! Also, the shop is super cute and clean. They have started selling some cupcake and baking themed items, which is fun. I also like that this business is community oriented (donating cupcakes for local non-profit events and other good causes). Now onto the problem: The cupcakes are dry! Noooooo!!! I tried them on three occasions and each time I was hoping that the dry cupcakes were a fluke. Nope. After three tries, I realized there was a pattern. I just can't see paying $3.25 for a dry, somewhat stale cupcake. The buttercream frostings were decent, but even good frosting doesn't make up for a dry cupcake. Back to Misha's I go!

Stopped in today on a whim - looking for ideas for a baby shower that we are throwing. Tried the salted caramel cupcake which was really good but also - big bonus points to how friendly the staff, specifically Will was. Looking forward to picking up the order we placed next week - trying 6 different flavors!

Drove here all the way from New York *wink wink* and did not regret it in the least. From the moment i stepped in, the smell hit me and i was ready to taste everything in there. Tasted the red velvet cupcake, which was yummylicious, and as per the recommendation of the owners (who were sweeter than their cupcakes!!!) tried the salted caramel. I have to say: just like I heard, the cupcakes are crack! Even better than crack because they're legal! The staff was amazing, the place is beautifully decorated and did I mention the orgasmic smell of baked goods? Totally recommend, and can't wait to see you guys again on all my future trips to Ft. Lauderdale.

A friend of mine told me about this place and we decided to check it out. I've had many disappointments in the past with dry and flavorless cupcakes but this place makes them exactly as they should be made. Baked to perfection, their cupcakes are moist, decadent and beautifully displayed making your decision process quite difficult. We had to "settle" for the box of a dozen so we got to try 8 different flavors. Since I enjoy cream cheese frosting more than buttercream the Southern Red Velvet and the Carrot are at the top of my rank. If you happen to crave cupcakes on a Sunday (which is when their shop is closed) as it happened to me before they have a kiosk at the Galeria Mall with all their regular flavors freshly available plus some of their seasonals. Sweeter Days is the best "cupcakery" in South Florida.

I got my wedding cake here. They were terribly helpful and willing to work with me despite my being a last-minute, destination-wedding crazy person. I told 'em I wanted chocolate, with chocolate, and add more chocolate on that, and they gave me just what I ordered. It seriously was death by chocolate (with the trip to heaven). They dolled it up with beautiful Tiffany-blue icing, just like the picture I sent them too.

I visited my cousin on her b-day and looked for some lovely cupcakes to surprise her at work. I found Sweeter Days Bake on yelp with high recommendations. And it turns out to be true, i really love them. The frosting was light and creamy. The Cookies & cream cupcake is very delicious. i highly recommend you to Sweeter Days Bake (very clean store, the owners are very nice and accommodating) . I'll come back next time if i visit my cousin again, can't wait :D Vivian

What a disappointment! I am giving it a star for presentation and that's about. For gourmet cupcake shop, cakes and icing sure tastes generic. The "creativity" for the savory flavors did not make up for the the quality of the cake itself. Sweeter Days is quite bitter for my gourmet palate.

  • Astrid S.

The smell in the store is amazing, which is not surprising, all the baking etc. is happening right there in the store front, which makes it look like a little factory though. The cupcakes look so wonderful. However, I now think cupcakes are overrated. I tried the raspberry/white chocolate. The flavor of the butter cream was good but it was so incredibly rich - and not in a good way. The cupcake itself lacked flavor and was basically just a vanilla cupcake. I'll eat a yummy piece of cake of even a muffin for less money any day.

We recently used Sweeter Days for our wedding cake (after asking my friend who made hers because I liked it so much) -- and it could not have been more perfect! We chose a three-layer round cake (two layers of almond and one of strawberries and cream) with beading along the edges and fresh-cut flowers. It was beautiful and absolutely delicious! Also, everyone at the shop was so helpful and friendly. We simply can't say enough about them. They made our special day even more memorable. We look forward to ordering their cakes and cupcakes for future celebrations and events. Highly recommend!

What a great place! A must for anyone visiting or living in the area! As you walk in you get the whole atmosphere of a bakery! It's very open with the glass walls to observe the process of the cupcakes and cakes being baked, decorated, and the aroma was unbelievable! Sweeter Days was exceptionally clean and the owner introduced himself and was generally interested in his clientele. The only downside is it's so tucked away off Federal highway in a strip mall and hard to get in and out of but I will make the effort to support the new business!

What I needed: A local bake shop that delivers cupcakes the same day you ordered them. Sweeter Days to the rescue! I wanted to send a good friend of mine a delivery of assorted cupcakes for her birthday. Not only did they deliver them a little over an hour after I called to order, but they were also packaged very nicely and were delicious! She brought them over to my place the next day to try. There were a dozen assorted cupcakes - red velvet, vanilla, dulce de leche, key lime pie, oreo cookie, etc. All were pretty great. The peanut butter cupcake was a bit too nutty, but all were enjoyable in their own right. I will definitely order from here next time. Very reliable service and impressive cupcakes. Note - there is a $15 delivery charge.

I like to think of myself as a cupcake connoisseur, I love everything about cupcakes from the look to the way they taste. Anywhere there is a cupcake shop I have most likely found it and reviewed it. I saw the sign while driving past and could tell that it was going to be a really cute store. The decor is so tasteful with a light blue and brown motif with the store split in half, one side with the product and the other side sort of like an open kitchen so the customers can watch the bakers frost the cakes. There are two flat screen t.v.'s playing Food Network at all times. Whenever I try a cupcake shop I always test their red velvet, plus it's my favorite flavor. It was unbelievable, the cake was super moist but not wet, and the frosting was a wonderful cream cheese frosting. Next I tried the strawberry, which was a golden cake with strawberry's in it and a butter cream frosting with a swirl of strawberry as well. Again it was delicious. Sweeter Days has an amazing product and a beautiful store, I can't wait to try their many enticing flavors.

I ordered cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. I was very excited about the cupcakes because they were pretty, but they just weren't that great tasting. Plus they charged us for an extra cupcake that wasn't there. I also was very disappointed because I asked to have her name piped onto a jumbo cupcake and the writing was so sloppy and ugly I was embarrassed to have it on there. So I took that piece away. I don't know, maybe the extra charge was to have her name written? Either way, the owner is super nice but I just don't think the cupcakes were worth the price.

I never had a sweet tooth...until I spent months in Northern Italy and now it is insatiable. Thank goodness Sweeter Days opened - finally delicious cupcakes in Fort Lauderdale. I've probably tried all of the flavors and not a let down yet...I'll have seconds. Also, the whole aura of the store is fantastic. Everything is incredibly clean and fresh with an open kitchen that makes you feel like you're in the middle of a show on Food Network. Two thumbs up!

For a lazy Sunday afternoon, this was the perfect place to satisfy my need for something sweet. I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcake and ended up buying a half dozen for my friends! The store is stylized with many options for gifts and gift baskets, and their kitchen is right up front to show you how it's all made. I might have found my local guilty pleasure venue to cheat on my diet.

Fabulous cupcakes, adorable shop, nice people! What more can I say. The cupcakes are perfectly sized. Not too big like a lot of bakeries. Sometimes having a "normal," home-made size cupcake is all I ask and this bake shop provides! They have special flavors on certain days, and offer cookies and mini cupcakes as well. My complaints were that they didn't have a lot of products, I'd like to see more. There weren't many cupcakes to choose from. But when I chose the coconut cupcake, I did not regret it! They were amazing. the flavor of the light sweet, fluffy icing was superb. With toasted and raw coconut on top, it was a delight for any coconut lover (but not an overload which was nice). The cake was perfectly soft with a nice light filling inside. My boyfriend got the carrot cake and thinks it's one of the best carrot cakes he's had! We've tried the cupcake shop in the mall at Boca and these he said were better! It had one of the most divine cream cheese frosting on top with a few chopped nuts on top (again not over doing the topping, don't want to take away from the cake). The inside cake was filled with some carrot slivers and a surprise addition of raisins! I would actually do without the raisins, but it didn't hurt the cake as a whole! Our only complaint about the cupcakes is the icing to cake ratio...Too much icing! I think that's a lot of cupcake's failures today, they put a ton of the sweet stuff with not enough fluffy soft cake! I'd like more cake please :) Otherwise, these were such good cupcakes, you have to give them a try!!!

I really wanted to like this place...but to the truth of the matter. The cupcakes.....bottom line they were super dry they almost seemed stale. The presentation is top notch they look amazing...... taste well I think I would rather have cupcakes from Publix over these. On the other hand the owners were super nice and the establishment is incredibly clean. I doubt I would return here. Waste of 35 dollars.

I've recently moved to Ft Lauderdale and have been searching for a new bakery to feed my cupcake habit. Sweeter Days is definitely that place. Its clean and bright with the most delicious smells wafting out the doors. The kitchen is all open on the left-hand side of the shop so you can observe the bakers making their delicious confections. They do beautiful cakes, brownies, and cookies but the piece de resistance is their amazing cupcakes! They come in a huge selection of flavors and are all topped with delicious icing. My favorite is definitely the red velvet - if you haven't tried it yet, you must! They also have a little boutique where you can shop for papyrus cards and cute gifts.

Ehhhhhh.................... if you like dry and stale cupcakes, this is the place... Their presentation is great and yes they have tons of choices but what good isnt that good when its like eating a sponge. I am sorry but if I'm gonna spend 3.25 for a cupcake it has to be good.

Wow wow and wow! These are some of the best cupcakes I have ever tasted and it was thanks to a family wedding. There was absolutely nothing traditional about my cousin's wedding and to hear that there was going to be an assortment of cupcakes as opposed to a cake, I was all in favor. The bride and groom had selected to serve chocolate cupcakes with orange buttercream and cream filling, an apple spice cupcake with a buttercream frosting and caramel drizzle, a pumpkin cupcake with a cream cheese frosting and a caramel corn-ish pumpkin (maybe, by the time I had eaten two I just couldn't bring myself to eat anymore), and a carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese frosting and crushed nuts and sugar sparkly sprinkles. I wish that in my time visiting for the weekend that I could have made it to their actual location to try more types of cupcakes, but my waistline and blood sugar levels just would not tolerate it. From what I tried, the little cakes of wonder were so perfectly moist and flavorful, just a little too much frosting for my taste. The flavors were a wonderful addition to the fall-themed wedding and can only imagine how the others must taste. I can't wait to get back there the next time I visit!

My husband and I were en route from Miami to Pompano Beach to host a birthday party for my brother-in-law and realized we didn't have a dessert. As I drove my husband got on Yelp and found the Sweeter Days Bake Shop, which was on our way north. He called the shop while I was driving and had the owner tell us about each cupcake. After the description of all of them we chose a variety for a total of 30 cupcakes. We also asked that he write happy birthday on the cupcakes. He said they didn't usually do it, but they would absolutely do it! We also asked that he have them packaged and ready so we could pick them up in the next 20 minutes. He also said that was no problem. We arrived at the ADORABLE shop to meet both the owners and pick up our cupcakes. They were all ready to go when we got there and once laying eyes on them we knew our guests would be wowed! The only downside was paying the bill. Yikes! They were really expensive. Our guests really enjoyed them! I don't care for sweets, but everyone was impressed and wanted to know where they too could buy the delicious, aestheticly pleasing sweet creations.

The previous reviews were good, so I decided I must try this place (I can't resist a good cupcake). I bought a dozen cupcakes since I couldn't pick just one (and I was taking them to a dinner at my parents). Everyone loved them. My Grandfather is a peanut butter fiend so he enjoyed the peanut butter frosting on the chocolate cupcake. The red velvet was awesome! The cupcakes are normal size-like you would make at home so if you are expecting jumbo cupcakes, you will be disappointed. If you can get over the size, the taste is great-I recommend giving Sweeter Days a try!

We popped in on Friday in dire need of birthday cake for that evening, having found Sweeter Days via Yelp. What a find! We didn't get a cake since it was such short notice but we did get the most delicious cupcakes! Red Velvet, Carrot Cake, Key Lime....everything was amazing! I would be a regular, It's a shame we don't live in Florida...but not for my waistline!

Went here for some cupcakes and picked out four different kinds. The owner really is very friendly. We picked out a strawberry, orange, red velvet, and oreo. All of them pretty much had the same texture of icing that I didn't really care for. It was pretty much just like whipped cream with very little flavor and all of them had another bad trait as others have mentioned. Every one of them were dry. I was really disappointed because I thought surely one of them would be moist but that simply was not the case. The red velvet was the most disappointing. The icing had no flavor and the cupcake was just dry. Neat place but not that great of cupcakes.

This establishment is nothing short of phenomenal. I came in on my wedding day in search of fabulous cupcakes, and I found them! The cupcakes are well presented, both in terms of counter display and the cupcakes themselves. The colorings and accents to the cupcakes themselves are really a treat. They were really picturesque, I almost couldn't bring myself to eat it! My friends, husband and I got several cupcakes to share and try. I got the red velvet, which is red velvet with coconut pecan icing- it was wonderful. The frosting is airy and fluffy and simply delectable. The cake is moist and not overbearing. Both could stand alone and be scrumptious. I found the Boston cream pie to really take the cake (haha, I'm so cheesy) and the filling was spot on. My husband was head over heels for the key lime, and that seemed to be the consensus among the group. The owners were super nice and I promised to yelp them as they opened fairly recently. They are definitely worth a stop in to sample!

  • Calypso R.

The owners are lovely, courteous with a capital C, but the cupcakes are way too small for the price, and really half of it is butter icing. I bought three and the only one I liked was the Red Velvet. Wanted to love them but Gran Forno's are way better.

Recently picked up a six pack if cupcakes and boy was that decision proper. I found this place from yelp and drove out east from Davie to grab a few. I am not a big red velvet fan but theirs was incredible. Also their tiffany's one with blue frosting was rich and moist. The staff (maybe owners) were great and real pleasure to speak with, and very helpful. If you have a sweet tooth itch this is definitely the place to scratch it. One more thing, I do not have many cupcake places to compare it to.

Absolutely fabulous cupcakes!!! I saw the great Yelp reviews, so I stopped by today with some coworkers. Yelpers- you are on it. Not only were the cupcakes absolutely delish, but the bakery was spanking clean and adorable, and the owner was so fun. I think the thing that sets these cupcakes apart from the competition is their icing. It was whipped and light, and so, so yummy!!! The cake was moist and springy....and the flavor combinations were interesting. We sampled four cupcakes (there were four of us), and each is deserving of rave reviews. Our tasting assortment included the classic red velvet (yummy- fab cream cheese icing), mint chocolate (minty without the reminder of toothpaste...I often find mint baked goods reminiscent of Colgate, but nothing like that here!!), key lime (tangy and yummy), and boston cream, which was my personal favorite. (who knew!??) I absolutely recommend these cupcakes. I'm a bit of a cupcake fanatic (see my other reviews), and these are some of the best I've ever had. It's also some of the best service I've ever had. Ever. Go check it out!!!

Twas the morning of my husbands birthday and I didn't have cake. His favorite is carrot.... I hate carrot cake. So I yelped it up looking for a solution and find Julie T.'s review mentioning the carrot cake cupcake being delicious so to Sweeter Days I do go. I was holding my breath as I walked in hoping that they would have the sought after carrot cake cupcake, and to my relief there was a delicate platter displaying half dozen or so creamy colored puffs topped with small pieces of walnuts (i think) atop light rust colored cakes. Upon my letting out my sigh of relief I noticed the wonderful smell that fills the room, it's light and sweet and better than any yankee candle I've ever lit. I dunno if they just popped some fresh from the over or what, but that smell put confidence in my purchasing. I knew I needed a carrot cake, but couldn't decide between the orange creamsicle, cookies & creme, boston cream, or coconut (not in the running for my affection were their signature chocolate and red velvet). So I got a box of half dozen ($16) and was on my way. The woman that helped me was very sweet, as were the cupcakes. In fact, the best part were the cupcakes themselves, not the frosting. And I eat frosting from the bucket.... often. I love frosting. I can't get too much frosting. I was the kid who ate only the frosting, I told my friends the frosting was gross they shouldn't eat it here put it on this plate and I'll throw it away for you just so I could eat their frosting. And these modest sized cupcakes overshadowed the frosting. My husband took off half the frosting (which I ate) and said it was just the right amount. I'm not sure if $3 for a cupcake is the going rate or not, but for a special occasion the half dozen box was perfect. A regular cake would cost at least that and in this case I'd either be stuck only eating the cream cheese frosting (which I'm not against) or the boy getting his second favorite cake for his bday. I do know that a cupcake and a cup of coffee sounds like a fantastic mid day snack, so I'll be sure to remember this place next time I'm in the mood for something sweet.

Probably the WORST cupcakes I have ever had!! I can not even believe this place claims they are a cupcake bakery when pillsbury mix cupcakes and frosting are better!! The cake was stale and dry and the frosting is airy and tasteless. Instead of spending money on decorating the bakery and making the cupcakes and boxing look all pretty, maybe they should spend there money on hiring good bakers. Whoever thinks these cupcakes are good needs to take a trip to orlando and visit Sweets or sprinkles in LA, now those are real cupcakes!!

if you're like me, the first thing you yelp for in a new city is the cupcake joints. duhh. sweeter day's won by a landslide because they've got a killer red velvet here. and by killer, i mean dericious. moist and chocolaty with a creamy not overpowering cream cheese frosting. i was super excited to share the pack of mini's once i got back to cali. much to my disappointment, the were a total bust. dry and crumbly (i'm willing to go as far and say stale), it was nothing like the original. so disappointed. i felt like a kid who'd just found out santa wasn't real.

I don't know how long this has been here, but I discovered it recently. OMG! I had the Chocolate Peanut Butter. It was moist and fresh. I was so impressed I purchased a Red Velvet to go. Service was great, you can even see them decorating the cupcakes from the window. I've lived in Broward for 10 plus year - don't know how I've missed this place, but glad I found it. Yummy!

Tasty but they're no Crumbs Bakeshop NYC. I was expecting more espcially at $2.95 per cupcake.

Yummy!

Damnnnnn!
